Shengye Wang, Ph.D.

Hi, my name is Shengye Wang. I am a software engineer at Waymo, working on high-level motion planning and behaviors.

I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California San Diego in 2020. During my Ph.D., I worked with Prof. Henrik Christensen on robotics reliability engineering, long-term autonomous systems, robot software infrastructure, fault-injection on robots, and human-robot interaction. Before joining UC San Diego, I worked on accelerating applications with FPGAs. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in microelectronics from Fudan University in 2014.
